Mezcal is a Mexican distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave.
Agaves are found in many parts of Mexico, though most mezcal is made in Oaxaca.
A saying attributed to Oaxaca regarding the drink is: "Para todo mal, mezcal, y para todo bien, también." -"For everything bad, mezcal, and for everything good, as well." (You must learn this saying to order your mezcal shot at the bar.
There will be 5 different types of mezcals such as:
-Agasajo with WORM: Product susceptible to be smoothed. It is left in wooden vats of oak or holm oak for at least 2 months to get stabilized and combined with maguey worms gives the palate an exquisite and traditional flavour.Tasting Notes: smoke, earthy, oil, WORM.
Aged for at least 4 months and slightly sweet, this mezcal gives an exquisite taste for the most exigent palates.
It is called "Corazon" as only the heart of the agave is used to produce this unique Mezcal. Tasting Notes: smoke, citrus, caramel and chocolate.
