Masa or Mexican corn dough is the essence of Mexican cuisine. With it you can not only make delicious tortillas, but mouth-watering “antojitos”, tamales, atoles and many more yummy things.
Tortillas can be used to make lots of dishes: tacos, quesadillas, chilaquiles, totopos, enchiladas, sopa de tortilla, budin Azteca, etc etc. we will give you some tips and ideas in the session.
Antojitos, like sopes (also known as picaditas in some parts of Mexico) and tlacoyitos, are generally eaten as appetizers, or light meals. Other examples of antojitos are chalupas, gorditas, huaraches and papadzules.
